| Grand Master Studios opened in 1989. It was originally named Miami Street Studios, but then changed to Grand Master Studios in 1997. The Studio is located in South Bend IN, right in the heart of the Midwest Music Scene.
The Studio was designed by Steven Dur, who is a well known studio architect. He has designed studios for Warner Bros, Merle Haggard and many other Nashville Studios. The Studio has been in Recording, Mix and EQ magazine. Queensryche's producer Tom Hall said "This room is a well designed, great sounding room. This is South Bend's best kept Secret!" Mutt Lange, who has produced AC/DC and Shania Twain, has also been in the studio as well as many local and national artists ranging from many styles.
